      An online forum is being created for people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury and find themselves very alone and misunderstood. It is sometimes known as the invisible injury because there are no broken bones, bruises, or wheelchairs that show others you are hurting. You can walk and talk so other people think everything is fine...... but it's not. Symptoms vary but there are many hallmark symptoms of TBI such as sensitivity to noise and / or light, headaches, memory lapses, word finding difficulties, etc. that need support but often are misunderstood.
      • If you find that family and friends do not understand your TBI injury and symptoms
      • If you find that you feel isolated because it is hard to be around loud noises and many people
      • If you need support from others who are experiencing the same types of symptoms but you do not know where to find the support you need
